i-Tree Website Redesign (Spring 2024)

During my Advanced Web Design course, I collaborated with two of my peers to redesign the i-Tree website, which provides tools for quantifying the benefits and value of trees. Utilizing Figma, we developed high-fidelity designs that emphasize user engagement and accessibility. After finalizing our designs, we proceeded to code them using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. Our redesign aimed to enhance the site's visual appeal and functionality, making it easier for users, ranging from students to urban foresters, to navigate and utilize the tools provided. The new design focused on clear, intuitive layouts and modern aesthetics, ensuring that i-Tree's mission to support tree and forest management, environmental justice, and carbon offset planning is effectively communicated and accessible to all users.
